The golden cookies are light and crisp, and that vanilla frosting is packed in so generously it nearly spills out with every bite. As someone who usually avoids gluten-free snacks, I couldn’t tell the difference—these disappear way too fast in my house.
The frosting layer is seriously thick—way more than I expected from a gluten free cookie—and it balances the golden cookies perfectly. I grabbed a pack for a road trip and ended up finishing half before we even hit the highway.
I’ve been burned by gluten free cookies before—they’re usually dry or crumbly—but these have a nice golden crispness that holds up to the thick layer of frosting, and the vanilla flavor is spot-on. Finished half the bag in one sitting without even noticing.
